Sometimes we strap the snowshoes to the rear kayak deck and then head off upstream on the Huron River in Michigan. A bit of lunch, then a mile or two of snowshoeing on the trails. A cup of hot cocoa, and a casual float trip back to the takeout. Mixing snowshoes and kayaking is bliss.
