It seems that everyone is paddling this weekend, but me! I know my precious lake is getting there, the ice cover melting calorie by calorie and I'll be out there soon, but... I want to paddle on my lake! NOW!
I'll continue the arctic series on Monday... unless I go paddling on my lake!

will any other life forms, apart from kayakers, be stirring in the lake with the arrival of spring?
Loch Ness and Loch Morar in Scotland are reputed to contain monsters, which are a great attraction for tourists.
At 1000 feet deep, Loch Morar is an interesting place.
May the thaw of Lake Massawippi continue!

A few people believe in 'Wippi', a resident monster in the lake, but no pics so far... Sound familar? LOL
You were not alone this weekend, at least being on shore. I spent saturday with the sweat lodge and today up in Two Rivers at a boat "swap". But no one wanted to swap their cash for my Kevlar Perception Shadow. Oh well, the ice is gone from around here :)
